Ya’ll, one of my all time favorite things to photograph on your wedding day are the details! They often get overlooked and forgotten after the wedding day, but I always take special attention to get at least a few photos of each detail. Specifically, after you send out your save the dates and invitations, it usually leaves your brain because you move on to planning all the other important details! But you worked hard to get those invitations perfect, and I want to make sure we document that. I always tell my brides to bring an extra set of the invitation suite on the wedding day so that we can get a detailed shot of the suite!
I remember clearly my own experience with wedding details, after the excitement of the engagement sets in and I realized “Ohmygosh I actually have to plan a wedding now” ,you start thinking about your invitation and save the dates, and venues photographer and and and and…it can be overwhelming! How much do I spend? Where do I get them? What are my wedding colors? It can get a little crazy. For your invitations, save the date cards (and photographer!) I have a suggestion for you. Basic Invite is legit a great place to get your suites taken care of. They are very reasonably priced , have almost unlimited customization and offer website services. Honestly I wish I knew about Basic Invite when I was getting married! I would have saved soo much money!
Any wedding planner will tell you that save the date cards should be one of the first things you get taken care of, this will let your guests start the planning process as early as possible. One of my favorite things Basic Invite offers is the magnet save the dates. Now that so many of us are working from home permanently, your loved ones can keep your save the date displayed and celebrate you all the time!
